Obituary

Velma Myrtle Zolman, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Zolman, was born March 15, 1896, and sweetly fell asleep in Jesus, March 24, 1906, aged 10 years and 8 days.
Velma leaves her father, mother, sister and brother and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
Velma was a bright and obedient child, to know her was to love her, always meeting everyone with a smile. She had a beautiful disposition and was loved by all. She was patient through all her severe suffering until the angels guided her spirit safely home.
The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church at Hamer, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. S. McDivitt, and the remains were laid to rest in the Franklin cemetery.

CARD OF THANKS - We desire to extend our heartful thanks to the neighbors and friends who were so kind and helpful during the sickness and death of our darling also the choir for their beautiful singing.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Zolman.

In Memoriam.
Dearest Velma, thou hast left us,
Left us for the golden shore.
In that heavenly land with Jesus,
There to dwell forever more.
Though so young, so mild and lovely,
Just a bud of life.
Left his world for that great place
Free from sorrow and strife.
Parents do not mourn for Velma,
She is in that heavenly land.
Praising there her heavenly Esther,
With the fair and glorious band.
She has left this world of trials,
This sad, sad world of woe.
With the sweet consolation,
That she was prepared to go.
Though your home is sad and lonely,
And you see her vacant chair,
Trust in Jesus, look to heaven.
Think of your jewel sparkling there.
