SAMUEL ZOLMAN

ROLLING PRAIRIE, Ind. - Samuel Zolman, 68, Rolling Prairie, died at 11:30 p.m. yesterday at his home after an illness of six months.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, with the Rev. Berwyn Jones officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from tomorrow noon.
Mr. Zolman, a retired employee of the Modine Manufacturing Co., was born June 20, 1893, at Mentone, Ind. He had lived in the area since 1938. On Nov. 29, 1917, in Michigan City, he was married to Helen Radtke, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Florence Arndt and Mrs. Arlene Mounce, both of Rolling Prairie, Mrs. Doris Struyf, Chicago, and Mrs. Joyce Smith, Michigan City; four sons, Max, Michigan City; John, New Carlisle, and Walter and Samuel Jr., both at home; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Kasel Whetestone, Mentone.

Helene Zolman

LaPorte - The funeral for Helene R. Zolman, 91, 4878N County Road 425E, Rolling Prairie, will be at the Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte, at 11 a.m. tomorrow. Mrs. Zolman died Monday afternoon (Nov. 13, 1989) at the home of her daughter in Rolling Prairie.
Burial will be in Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until the service tomorrow.
Mrs. Zolman was born Sept. 15, 1898, in Michigan City; the daughter of Max and Minnie Krueger Radtke. On Nov. 29, 1917, in Michigan City, she married Samuel Zolman, who died Oct. 22, 1961.
Surviving are three daughters, Arlene Mounce and Doris Struyf, Both of Rolling Prairie, and Joyce Smith, Nashville, N. C.; four sons, Max Zolman, Michigan City, John Zolman, New Carlisle, Walter Zolman, South Bend and Samuel Zolman, LaPorte; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Clara Gropp and Marie Dehn, both of Michigan City. One daughter, Florence Arndt, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one brother are deceased.
Mrs. Zolman was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

ROLLING PRAIRIE - Services for Helene R. Zolman, 91, of 4878 N. County Road 425 East, who died at 4:45 p.m. Monday in the home of her daughter, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Haverstock Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. until services Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity. Survivors include two sons, John of New Carlisle and Walter of South Bend.
