CATHERINE ZOLMAN, AGE 87, DIED AT HER HOME NEAR HERE SUNDAY
FUNERAL SERVICE HERE
REV. J. C. BAILEY WAS IN CHARGE OF THE FUNERAL WEDNESDAY MORNING

Katherine Zolman, daughter of James and Sarah Ann Zolman, was born in Whitley county, April 6, 1841. Died Jan. 6, 1929 at the advanced age of 87 years and 9 months. She passed the entire period of her life in the vicinity approximating Churubusco. She was a hard working woman and in the advanced years of life endeavored to care for herself as much as possible. The varied kindness of her life will live on in the hearts of those who were the recipients of her life's activities. The deceased, affiliated with the Methodist Episcopal church, but of late years was not able to attend the services.
The immediate kinfolk who mourn her going are the sisters, Mrs. Henry Strong of Fort Wayne, Cynthia and Clarinda at home and one son, one grandson, and four great-grandchildren. Her many friends and neighbors take proper cognizance of her going and join in tender symphathy with these bereaved. Peace be to her ashes, and may the benediction of her life rest graciously upon her loved ones that remain.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Sonday Funeral Home in Churubusco. Rev. J. C. Bailey, pastor of the United Brethren church officiating, burial was made in Eel River cemetery.
