His second wife, Martha (Bryant) Zolman was previously married to George Washington Zolman [744].

His third wife, Elizabeth Jane (Brockey) Rhodes was first married (in 1877) to Thomas J. Rhodes.
Thomas J. Rhodes (07-Jan-1855 to 18-Oct-1887) is buried at Hoover Cemetery, Fulton County, Indiana.

Obituary: Rochester (IN) Sentinel of Friday 04-Apr-1919

James Zolman, 70, died of pneumonia Thursday night at the home north of Athens, after an illness of several days. He was first taken ill with influenza. Besides a wife, several children survive. He was a lifelong resident of Athens. Funeral services Sunday morning at 10 o'clock from the Athens U. B. Church. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Athens.

Mrs. Elizabeth Rhodes Zolman, aged 82, died Friday evening at the home of her son, Dewey Zolman, in Athens following a long illness.
Mrs. Zolman was born October 1, 1858 in Newcastle township, the daughter of William and Susanna Brockey. In 1877 she married Thomas Rhodes, and in 1891 she was married to James Zolman. She was an active member of the Rochester Baptist Church.
She is survived by eight children: Mrs. John Smith, Mrs. Nora McIntyre, Porter Rhodes, Dewey Zolman, Mrs. Fay Wagoner, Mrs. Trudie Nelson, Mrs. Michael Sheets, and Mrs. Eva Miller; twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
Last rites were conducted by the Rev. H. T. Rafnel of Rochester at the Athens U. B. Church Sunday.
