Guy E. Zolman , 70, of Avilla died Sunday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He
was a retired farmer. He also retired in 1989 from Newman Manufacturing in
Kendallville after 30 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Marjorie of Albion; daughters, Linda Ream and Diana
Mynhier of Avilla, and Kathy Stoops of LaOtto; a brother, Arthur Zolman of
Tacoma, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services are
11 a.m. Wednesday at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, with calling one hour before
services. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in
Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco.

Marjorie Zolman
AVILLA - Marjorie L. Zolman, 72, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, at home.
A graduate of Huntertown High School, Mrs. Zolman was a lifetime
area resident and retired from Kraft Foods in Kendallville. She
attended Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Avilla.
She was born Dec. 26, 1927, in Ari to George and Mable (Duglay)
Smith. On Dec. 13, 1945, in Albion she married Guy Zolman. He
preceded her in death Nov. 30, 1997.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Craig Ream
and Diana and Doug Mynhier, all of Avilla, and Kathy and David
Stoops of Butler; eight grandchildren, Michael Ream, Lynette Wagner,
Candice Fisher, Tabatha Lash, Trent and Troy Mynhier, and Scott and
Tonya Brandenburg; and eight great-grandchildren.
A brother, Howard Smith, also preceded her in death.
Services were Tuesday at Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Avilla,
with the Rev. Ken Robinson officiating. Burial was in Riverside
Cemetery, Churubusco.
Brazzell Funeral Home in Avilla was in charge of arrangements.
