They had the following children:

They resided at Collins. She was of Columbia City at her death and had
3 sons, 3 daughters and 28 grandchildren. She is buried at Eel River Cemetery.
2) RAY, Inez B. (b. Jun-1891) - md. STROH, Ernest
She was of Columbia City in 1935 and of Tucson, Arizona in 1955,1970-71.
3) RAY, Homer (b. Mar-1894)
He was of Kansas City in 1935, of Fishers in 1955 and of Indianapolis in 1970.

Mrs. Rose Ray Dies Sunday
Mrs. Rose A. Ray, 69, wife of F. M. Ray who resides a mile southwest of Collins,
died Sunday morning, August 11, at her home from complications.
Surviving Mrs. Ray are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Alta Phillips and
Mrs. Inez Stroh of Whitley county;
five sons, Home of Kansas City, Mo., Harry, Heber, Alvin and Elmer of Whitley County;
three sisters, Mrs. Will Crabill of Collins,
Mrs. Fannie Parker of Minnesota and Mrs. Charles Ray of Collins;
two brothers, A. W. Harter of Whitley County and A. B. Harter of Kosciusko County.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock in the Collins U. B. church, of which
Mrs. Ray was a member, and Rev. LeRoy Garner officiated.
The Sonday funeral home was in charge.
Burial was made in Eel River Cemetery.
Mrs. Ray was born in Whitley county on September 7, 1865 and in 1896 married
F. M. Ray. She lived her whole life in this community.

Francis Ray Dies Wednesday
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 o'clock at the Collins U. B. Church
for Francis M. Ray, 83, Smith Township farmer who died Wednesday morning, Jan. 17th
at 8:45 o'clock at the home of his son, Heber, 2 miles north of town.
In 1896 he was married to Rose Harter, who died 5 years ago. He is survived by
two daughters, Mrs. Alta Phillips of Collins and Mrs. Ernest Stroh of Columbia
City; five sons, Heber, Alvin, and Elmer of Churubusco, Homer of Kansas City, Mo.,
and Harry of Columbia City; 2 brothers, Charles of Collins and Loman of
Columbia City.
He was born Jan. 25, 1856, to John and Martha Jones Ray.
He lived on his farm west of town until Sept. 12, 1939, when he moved to his
son's home.
The body was returned to the residence Thursday afternoon from the Sonday
Funeral home. Rev. Marion Shroyer will have charge of the funeral services,
assisted by Rev. Cunningham. Burial wil be made in Eel River cemetery.
