The Clines

Ira And Alice (Hipshire) Cline of West Wallen Road are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Jan. 24, 1942, in Paulding, Ohio. They are the parents of Shirley Wells and Harry Cline, both of Fort Wayne. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ira Cline is retired from Transport Motor Express. Alice Cline is retired from ITT Aerospace.

Ira N. Cline, 70, of Fort Wayne died Thursday at Parkview Memorial Hospital.
The Payne, Ohio native had live in Fort Wayne most of his life. He retired in 1980 after 30 years as a truck driver for Transport Motor Express.
Surviving are his wife, Alice; a son, Harry N. of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Shirley A. Wells of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at D. O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Preferred memorial are gifts to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or Allen County Cancer Society.
